Once-beautiful things sometimes cease to exist. Such is the case with the Greenwood Mills #5 Plant. One of several cotton mills located in Greenwood SC, it once provided generations of security for its hard-working community. Its demolition was completed in 2011. The site now sits empty – a memory.
